Let us celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ, with worshipful music that tells the stories and scriptures of Christmas.
The Timeless Ensemble, a premium a cappella ensemble, part of the Regent University Chorale, will be performing a choral setting of one of the Kievan Chants by Pavel Chesnokov and a Christmas motet by Giovanni da Pierluigi Palestrina (1525 – 1594) in celebration of his 500th birth year. These selections will be followed by Camille Saint-Saëns’ (1835-1921) Christmas Oratorio (Oratorio de Noël, Op. 12) along with soloists and a Chamber String Orchestra, including a harp.
Come and be blessed in the presence of the Holy Spirit as we meditate on the stories about the birth of Christ through the music that has been loved throughout the centuries.
