The researcher employed purposive sampling based on the researcher’s understanding of the target population to select a sample size of 10 participants. The findings revealed that strategic thinking influenced the development of competent global leaders by enhancing their decision-making skills, ability to anticipate challenges and develop potential solutions, creativity, and ability to adapt to new business environments. Moreover, the results indicated that multinational corporations used training and mentorship programs and assessments to integrate strategic thinking into leadership development programs and create competent future leaders in the complex global business environment.
