Joseph Umidi, D.Min.

Bio

Dr. Joseph Umidi serves as Regent’s Executive Vice President for Student Life. He formerly led the School of Divinity as Interim Dean, in addition to more than 35 years as a Full Professor of Ministry and director of the school’s internship program.

Dr. Umidi received his Master of Divinity from Acadia Divinity College and his Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

For 15 years, Dr. Umidi oversaw New Life Ministries International, a church network, church planting, and mission organization based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Dr. Umidi has written five books, including the best seller JESUS THE MASTER COACH, and has developed numerous training manuals used globally.

Dr. Umidi is the Founder and President of Lifeforming Leadership Coaching, Inc., one of the first and largest Christian coach-training ministries, which spans 29 countries and 14 languages, primarily advanced by several Regent alumni. As a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, he continues to provide leadership and spiritual coaching internally at Regent and externally to key global leaders.

Dr. Umidi is married to Marie, Founder and President of TMCJ, Inc., an international gospel arts ministry. They are the delighted grandparents of three grandchildren.
