Supervisor Training – Part I: Policies, Procedures, and Legal Issues

To all supervisors and those with aspirations to become a supervisor, trainings have been scheduled. Anyone in a supervisory role is required to attend the trainings and earn their basic supervisory skills certificate. This training is encouraged for both current supervisors to get a refresher to the current best practices to address managerial issues, along with the employees who would like to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to fill this type of role. There are no prerequisites for these courses, so you may attend in any order.

To earn the supervisory skills certificate, the following four courses must be completed:

• Part I: Policies, Procedures, and Legal Issues
• Part II: Motivation, Teamwork, and Attitude
• Interview Training
• Performance Conversations Training
