Supervisor Training

The Basic Supervisory Skills certificate requires completion of the following trainings: Policies, Procedures, and Legal Issues; Motivation, Teamwork, and Attitude; Interviewing, Performance Management, and Conflict Resolution. To register online for these classes, see the Human Resources Training opportunities listed at “Learn More”.

Anyone in a supervisory role is required to complete all four trainings listed above. Current supervisors who may have previously taken these classes are encouraged to sign up for a refresher. It is imperative to remain current on how to properly address various managerial issues. We also welcome employees who are working towards becoming supervisors and would like to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to fill this type of role.
