Leading with Emotional Intelligence

Supervisors, take advantage of an opportunity to strengthen those skills as Cigna EAP (Employee Assistance Program) is hosting two leadership training seminars this fall (10/23/25 and 11/20/25). Today’s seminar discusses emotional intelligence – being aware of emotions and how they affect and shape interactions with others – which has been identified as a key leadership trait. In this seminar, we’ll take an in-depth look at the role of emotions in the workplace. We’ll learn what emotional intelligence looks like in a management role, and learn strategies for using it to inspire, build relationships, and manage conflict effectively.
