Regent University – Christmas Celebration 2025 Giveaway Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

  1. Eligibility

Current Regent University employees and employees’ immediate family (defined as spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children, and grandchildren or household members) of Sponsor and any affiliate including but not limited to The Christian Broadcasting Network, Inc., Operation Blessing International Relief and Development Corporation, and Founders Conference Center, LLC, (“Giveaway Entities”) are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in the Giveaway, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these official rules (“Official Rules”) and by the decisions of Sponsor in all matters relating to the Giveaway.

  1. How to Enter
    Participants may enter by completing either:
  • A paper inquiry form at the Regent University booth during the Grand Illumination Event (Nov. 30, 2025) or Christmas Village (Dec 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, and 13).
  • The digital form at regent.edu/grand2025 or regent.edu/cv2025 during the event dates.

Only one entry per person will be accepted. Individuals who complete multiple entries will be disqualified.

  1. Prize
    One (1) winner will be selected to receive:  
  • One (1) Regent University Gift Basket (contents may vary).  Value of the prize is estimated to be $250.

The Prize is not transferable, redeemable for cash, or exchangeable for other items.

The Prize can be picked up from the Regent University Welcome Center Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, except when closed during holiday breaks, including December 24, 25, 31, and January 1, 2026. The Welcome Center is located in the Divinity Building at 1000 Regent University Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23464 and can be reached at (757) 352-4727.

The Prize must be picked up from the Regent University Welcome Center by January 15, 2026, or it will be forfeited.

  1. Odds of Winning
    Your chances of winning are based on the total number of eligible entries received.
  1. Winner Selection & Notification
    Around December 16, one (1) potential winner will be randomly chosen from all eligible entries. The winner does not have to be present to win, and they will be notified via the contact information provided at the time of entry. If no response is received within 72 hours, another winner will be selected.
  1. General Conditions
    By submitting the form, you consent to Regent University and its representatives contacting you through any email address, phone number, or mailing address you provide (including via email, autodialed calls, pre-recorded messages, and text messages) to discuss your educational interests.
  1. Selection of Winner

Around December 16, 2025, one (1) potential winner will be randomly chosen from all eligible entries. The Sponsor will notify the selected individual on or around December 16, 2025, using the email address or phone number provided.  The potential winner will need to verify their eligibility, including age and residency. If the potential winner (i) is found to be ineligible, (ii) does not respond within two business days of notification or after three attempts, the Sponsor has the right to disqualify them and select a replacement winner through a random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.  Winner is responsible for state, federal, and local taxes.

  1. Right to use Winner’s Name, Likeness and Biographical Information

Except where prohibited by law, by participating in the Giveaway and accepting the prize, the winner grants the Sponsor, Regent University, and their affiliates the unrestricted right, license, and permission to use the winner’s name, image, and biographical details globally, across any existing or future media, on a royalty-free basis, for promotional purposes, without the need for additional compensation or approval.

  1. Governing Law

The Giveaway and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of Virginia. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited, any claim made in connection with the Giveaway or any entry shall be determined in accordance with the laws of the COMMONWEALTH of Virginia, without regard to its conflicts of law rules. All claims shall be brought in the CIRCUIT COURT OF Virginia Beach, Virginia OR THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COUIRT FOR THE EASTERN DISTRICT OF VIRGINIA, NORFOLK DIVISION. Entrants agree that such jurisdiction is acceptable to them. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of SPONSOR, which are final and binding in all respects.

  1. Miscellaneous

Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Giveaway or any Entrant’s participation in the Giveaway should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other similar or dissimilar causes beyond Sponsor’s control affect the administration, security or proper play of the Giveaway or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Giveaway as planned. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, tamper with the operation of the Giveaway or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Giveaway or any other entrant (in each case as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Giveaway.

  1. Sponsor

Regent University, 1000 Regent University Drive, Virginia Beach, Virginia, 23464 (“Sponsor”) is the Sponsor and operator of the “Giveaway” and is solely responsible for its administration and fulfillment. You agree to look solely to the Sponsor for any claim relating to the Giveaway.

  1. Winner Announcement
