Amanda-Lee Pitzer, Ed.D.

Bio

Dr. Amanda-Lee Pitzer earned her Ed.D. in Educational Psychology from Regent University in 2023. Her scholarship centers on trauma-responsive schools, educator well-being, and student resilience, and she regularly contributes to research surrounding trauma-informed programs and their impact. She teaches graduate courses in educational psychology, trauma-informed practice, curriculum leadership, and research, equipping educators to lead with both academic rigor and compassion.

She is the author of The Relieved WidowWhen Children Are Hurting, and Restored to Learn: A Trauma-Informed Guide for Today’s Educators. Beyond the university, Dr. Pitzer serves as Chapter President of Angels of America’s Fallen – Hampton Roads and actively advocates on Capitol Hill to support military families, surviving children, and trauma-informed educational policy.
