Regent Remembers Kumar Periasamy

| February 27, 2012

Along with many at Operation Blessing and CBN, the Regent University community is remembering the remarkable life of Kumar Periasamy '00 (Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship), director of international operations for Operation Blessing, who passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, following complications from cancer treatment.

"Kumar was an amazing Christian leader. I had the privilege of working with him on several projects and had the greatest respect for his innovation and his ability to accomplish so much all around the world," said Regent president, Dr. Carlos Campo. "Thanks to his years of service with CBN and with Operation Blessing, Kumar had a tremendous impact on thousands of people who now have access to food supplies, fresh water, medical care and education. Kumar showed the love of Jesus to these people. He was truly Christ's hands, feet and heart here on earth."

Perisamy received an MBA from Regent while working for Operation Blessing. Read more about his life and work from CBN News.
