Since Regent University makes use of computer software and the internet to communicate with students and enhance its courses, all students are expected to have a computer. All students who use personal computers or laptops must meet the minimum standards regarding hardware, software, and Internet access.
Online courses are available through Blackboard, Regent's web-based classroom. Students access Blackboard through a web browser, where they view course material, interact with faculty and students and submit assignments online. Regent's undergraduate courses do not require students to be online on specific days or at specific hours. Test Drive An Online Course for an example of the undergraduate online program.
On Campus students attend class once a week at the Virginia Beach campus. Regent University's on campus classes are Hybrid Courses where learning is done primarily online, including Blackboard postings and online submissions.
