Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapeutic process used to address and resolve traumatic disorders. EMDR uses rapid eye movements to activate past memories of traumatic event/s, process the memories of the event by bringing them into present awareness and restructures the memory of the event.
