Theatre - Summer C.A.M.P.

Are you inspired by live theatre? Join us this summer for one of our popular Theatre C.A.M.P.s.

The Junior C.A.M.P., for ages 10-14, is a three-week intensive for the theatre novice and veteran alike. Mornings include Acting, Improvisation, Voice and Dance classes, then it's a quick lunch and off to rehearsal for a junior theatre production which will have a six-performance run the final weekend of camp.

The Senior C.A.M.P., for ages 14-18, takes theatre training to the next level with a full-scale production. Classes are offered in Acting, Stage Combat, Voice and Dance. This five-week, evening camp culminates with a three-performance run of a full-scale production in our state-of-the-art, 712-seat theater.

Junior Theatre Camp

Ages:  10-14

Camp Location:  Regent University Communication and Performing Arts Center

Camp Dates:  June 20 - July 10, 2011

Parent & Student Orientation: June 16, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.

Class and Rehearsal Dates and Times:  M-F 8:45 a.m.-5:15 p.m. (June 20 - July 1)

Tech/Dress Rehearsal Week Dates Times:  M-Th 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. (July 4-7)

Performance Dates and Times:  July 8 at 10:00 a.m., July 8, 9 & 10 at 7:00 p.m. and July 9 & 10 at 2:00 p.m.

Photo Call: July 9, 2011 at 3:30 p.m.

Required Audition Dates and Times:  June 10, 2011, 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. and June 11, 2011, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Call Backs:  June 12, 2011, 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

Cost: $600. A deposit of $200 is due upon enrollment.  The remaining balance is due by June 6, 2011.

Senior Theatre Camp

Ages: 14-18

Camp Dates: July 11 - August 14, 2011

Class Dates and Times: M-Th July 11 - August 5, 2011, 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. (See schedule below.)

Rehearsal Dates and Times: M-F July 11 - August 5, 2011, 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. and Sat, July 16, 23, 30 & August 6, 1 p.m.-6 p.m.

Performance Dates and Times:  August 12 & 13 at 7:00 p.m. and August 14 at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Theatre
