Dr. Dennis Bounds is an associate professor in the Department of Cinema-Television at Regent University specializing in cinema-television history and criticism, international cinema and writing for cinema and television. He is a regular presenter of academic works and screenwriting workshops at film festivals and conferences throughout the United States.
Dr. Bounds is a writer whose published material appears in The Encyclopedia of Television, as well as in book chapters and articles on cinema-television. His book on the lawyer-detective “Perry Mason” serves as a standard reference. At Regent, he teaches courses on cinema-television history, criticism and writing.
