Biography
Dr. Bounds is an avid detective fiction, film and television fan having published a definitive work on Perry Mason. Perry Mason: The Authorship and Reproduction of a Popular Hero. Westport, CT: Greenwood Press, 1996. His research concerns the areas of detective film and fiction, Biblical epics, science fiction, and narrative adaptation. He is currently writing a science fiction thriller as both a novel and screenplay. He teaches film and television history, theory and screenwriting and is the interim chair of the MFA in Script and Screenwriting.
