Are you ready to become an influential leader in theatre world? Regent University's Master of Fine Arts in Acting, with a concentration in directing, will help you do just that. We are committed to developing well-rounded Christian artists able to bring integrity and excellence to the industry by offering the only MFA in Acting taught from a Christian worldview. As a student, you will be stretched and mentored through a rigorous, professional actor training program rooted in technique and hands-on experience. Once accepted into the directing concentration*, you will be challenged as both an artist and a leader while learning how to develop and shape the creative process of a theatrical production. Students in the directing concentration are allowed to supplement their actor training by taking nine additional credit hours of directing classes. Throughout your education, you will have multiple acting and directing opportunities in our annual theatre season and student lab projects.

Upon graduation, you will be prepared to pursue a career as a professional in the theatre, film and television industries or in higher education. The Master of Fine Arts in Acting, with a concentration in directing, will position you as a Christian leader prepared to revolutionize the world of professional theatre.

* Admission into the directing concentration is by faculty invitation only. Students must first be accepted into the general concentration of the MFA program on the basis of their audition. The candidacy of students interested in the directing concentration will be evaluated after they have matriculated into the program.
