Introduction to methods of studying and interpreting Scripture, theological understanding, and practical application.
Examination of the content and messages of the Gospels, their theology, and their application in modern culture.
Examination of the content and message of Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs & Lamentations, their theology, and their application in modern culture.

Study of the writings of the Old Testament prophets, focusing on one of the major prophets or a selection of the minor prophets. The course examines the historical moment and place of the text as well as the role of the prophet in ancient Israel. Students examine texts exegetically, considering theology as suggested by the text(s) as well as the relationship to the New Testament, along with personal applications of the prophets' teachings. Prerequisite: BIBL 103 or BIBL 105.

Examination of the content and messages of Paul’s letters to the churches, their theology, and their application in modern culture.

Study of the New Testament book of Acts and the history and context of first-century Christianity. Students consider the historical, literary, and cultural background of Acts as well as its theological message and major themes. Prerequisite: BIBL 104 or BIBL 105.

Exegetical study of the general epistles (James through Jude). Students examine theological, literary, and cultural aspects of these letters as they consider the application of these texts. Prerequisite: BIBL 104 or BIBL 105.

  • Upon conditional acceptance, Regent University will attempt to obtain your official transcripts from your U.S. degree-granting institution.
  • International transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES-approved company.

Step 4: Submit Your Government-Issued ID if Applicable

  • All online students and graduate level on-campus students are required to email a photo of your government-issued ID to apply@regent.edu using the subject line: Government ID.
  • Please note that all items submitted as part of the application process become the property of Regent University and cannot be returned.

Step 5: Submit Your FAFSA

  • Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov Regent’s school code is 030913.
