The School of Education’s educational leadership and teacher preparation programs and the College of Arts & Science’s interdisciplinary studies and secondary licensure tracks programs are awarded accreditation by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) for a period of seven years, to 12/31/2023. The programs accredited are Educational Leadership, Elementary Education (M.Ed.), K-12 Special Education, Gifted Education, Career Switcher (Alternative Licensure) for Middle and High Schools, English as a Second Language, Reading Specialist, Interdisciplinary Studies, and the Secondary Teacher Licensure tracks.
