Regent University Summer Orientation Plans are Underway to Ensure Our Incoming Freshmen SOAR
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (April 10, 2023) – Regent University is preparing to host its Summer Orientation, Advising & Registration or SOAR 2023 sessions at its Virginia Beach campus on June 22-23 and June 26-27.
These upcoming orientation events will include interactive ice-breakers, campus tours, introductions to academic advisors, opportunities to make friends and much more. Freshmen students who are starting in fall 2023 should plan to attend one of the summer sessions.
“Our orientation team is already planning summer welcome activities to get our new students ready for their next chapter,” said Kristin Smith, Regent University Orientation & Student Engagement manager. “This experience will allow students and their families to learn more about Regent’s resources and processes while having fun!”
In addition, incoming freshmen and transfer students (age 23 or younger) are expected to attend Regent’s mandatory Welcome Week in fall 2023. This program is designed to help new students gain confidence, learn how to navigate classes, and connect with leadership and classmates.
Registration for summer orientation 2023 and fall Welcome Week 2023 are now open. To learn more, call 757.352.4511, email email@example.com or register at regent.edu/SOAR.
