Regent Law Posts Record Employment Outcomes, Ranks Among Nation’s Leaders

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (April 29, 2026) — Regent University’s School of Law announced record employment outcomes for its Class of 2025, with 96% of graduates securing positions under one of the most demanding professional benchmarks in legal education reporting and 25% obtaining prestigious and highly competitive judicial clerkships.

Using newly released American Bar Association (ABA) data and focusing on full-time, long-term graduate outcomes, Regent Law ranked No. 7 in the nation in judicial clerkships, No. 26 in federal clerkships, and No. 27 in employment outcomes.

The Class of 2025 results reflect the strongest employment outcomes in Regent Law’s history and continue a multi-year trend of growing demand for Regent graduates among law firms, the judiciary, and other legal employers.

“I could not be more proud of our students for their hard work, our faculty for their faithful investment, and our staff for their constant striving on behalf of our students,” said S. Ernie Walton, Dean of Regent University’s School of Law. “Regent Law exists to send well-trained Christian lawyers into the legal profession to serve their communities with wisdom, skill, and integrity. We intend to keep pouring our energy into that mission, serving our students well, and preparing the very best lawyers and leaders we possibly can. All glory to God for His blessing on our graduates.”

The 96% employment rate cited above uses the methodology applied by U.S. News & World Report in its law school rankings and is derived from ABA disclosure data using a strict subset of employment categories, emphasizing full-time, long-term positions that either require bar licensure or for which a law degree provides a demonstrable professional advantage.
