Regent will be hosting the 9th Annual National Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition on February 5-6, 2010.

For more information contact Autumn Leva, National Competition Coordinator, autulev@regent.edu , or John McCormick, Chairman, at johnmc3@regent.edu.

Plan now to participate in Regent Law’s ninth annual Competition, sponsored by the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), one of the nation’s preeminent constitutional law firms.

The 2010 competition promises to provide a unique format that will simulate an actual argument before the United States Supreme Court, featuring a controversial and contemporary issue of constitutional law that will be both fascinating and challenging to all competitors.

The competition will feature many notable federal and state judges, as well as ACLJ Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow.

Dr. Sekulow is Chief Counsel for both the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) and the European Center for Law and Justice (ECLJ). He has also served as a faculty member for the Office of Legal Education at the United States Department of Justice.

Dr. Sekulow has argued before the United States Supreme Court 14 times in defense of constitutional freedoms. In February, Dr. Sekulow will judge in the final round of the 2010 Competition.
