Bar Passage Rates

Regent’s first-time Virginia Bar exam pass rate for 2012 graduates, including both the February and July bar exams, was 81.5%. The overall Virginia Bar exam first-time pass rate for the February and July exams combined was 76.9%.

Over the last three years (2010-2012), Regent’s nationwide first-time Bar takers (all states) passed at an average rate of 82.8%.

The most recent first-time bar pass rates for all 2010-2012 Regent Law graduates, all states, with corresponding LSAT breakdowns, are as follows: 

97% of our graduates who had an LSAT score above 155 passed the bar exam on their first attempt.

89% of our graduates who had an LSAT score above 150 passed the bar exam on their first attempt.
