Legal Research Workshops
Effective research skills are essential for those engaged in the practice of law. Our Research Services Librarians understand that developing those skills takes time and practice. Each semester, law librarians offer a series of workshops designed to help law students become more efficient and effective researchers. Topics regularly covered include:
- Law Review and Journal Research
- Using Digests to Locate Relevant Cases
- Legal Encyclopedias & Other Secondary Sources
- How to Shepardize
- Legislative History Research
New topics are frequently added. For details about upcoming sessions, click here. Questions about training sessions should be directed to a Law Librarian.
