Travel Notes:
- The cost per week will be $1950. A second week costs an additional $950.
- Regent will organize travel from Washington D.C. to Kyiv and back. If you live in the U.S. you will be responsible for transportation to Washington D.C. and home.
- If you live in Europe or Asia, we may adjust cost of your trip based on the price of your air travel.

- If you would like a credit for elective class, please, register for COUN 568 or CES 668 Cross Cultural Supervision I or COUN 580 Practicum in Trauma Studies when you register for your Summer classes (3-credit elective). If you already took those, you may be able to take COUN 569 or CES 669 Cross-cultural supervision II. Contact Dr. Zaporozhets to consult.

If you would like course credit for an elective in conjunction with this trip, please register for COUN 568/CES 668 (Cross-Cultural Supervision) or COUN 580 (Practicum in Trauma Studies) when you register for your Summer classes. Each elective is 3 credits. If you have taken COUN 568/CES 668 (Cross-Cultural Supervision), you may be able to take COUN 569/CES 669 (Cross-Cultural Supervision II). Contact Dr. Zaporozhets to discuss this option.
Students provide clinical supervision under the supervision of Regent faculty in a cross-cultural setting either face-to-face outside of the US or online. Students will develop their own supervision style and practice servant leadership in the cross-cultural setting.
Students provide clinical supervision under the supervision of Regent faculty in a cross-cultural setting either face-to-face outside of the US or online. Students will act in leadership roles as they supervise and co-teach in cross-cultural environment.
Students will engage in trauma-informed clinical work under the supervision of Regent faculty in a cross-cultural setting. Students will engage children and/or members of armed forces and their families in obtaining skills that will enhance intrapersonal and interpersonal resiliency and well-being.
Limited to selected few students assisting with sexuality and pre-marital counseling classes teaching & assisting with the international conference conducted in partnership with Bohomolets National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine

May 14 – Thursday – the first week team is departing from IAD, Washington DC
May 15, Friday – Arriving to Kyiv, hosting Open Doors center in the afternoon/evening (Possible breakfast in the European city during morning layover)
May 16 – Saturday attending the conference at Bohomlets National Medical University
May 16-17 – Saturday and Sunday – orientation, teaching prep, attending church service in Kyiv, open market, sightseeing
May 18-22, Monday – Friday – Regent students are co-teaching with faculty and supervising Ukrainian students’ pre-marital counseling and sexuality and marriage courses.
May 23 – Saturday (tentative)- student conference in Kyiv Institute of Business and Technology (tentatively) or Bohomolets National Medical University. Regent students will have an opportunity to present and publish in Ukrainian journal (if accepted by reviewing board). http://kibit.edu.ua/en/
May 24 – Sunday, first week team departs for U.S., arrives to U.S. on the same day (due to the time change).

May 23 – Saturday – if works out we can possibly shift arrival to a day early for students attend a conference at Kyiv Institute of Business and Technology (tentatively) or Bohomolets National Medical University. May 24 – Sunday orientation, attending church service in Kyiv, open market, sightseeing, teaching prep
May 25 – 29 – Monday – Friday, Regent team is teaching skill development in triads via direct observation and video recording; Additionally some students will assist with addictions and supervision classes teaching.
May 30 – Sat. debriefing, sightseeing.
Sunday – May 30th second week team departs for U.S., arrives to U.S. on the same day (due to the time change).
Departs US on Saturday, May 30 (arriving to Ukraine the next day due to time change) – Return to U.S. Monday, June 8 (departs Ukraine and arrives to the U.S. on the same day).

June 1 – Monday orientation, sightseeing, preparing for teaching
June 2 – 6 – Tuesday – Saturday, Regent team is teaching group counseling, counseling theories, and family counseling. Those participating in the trauma practicum will be engaged with children at a local transitional home for orphaned/abandoned children.
June 7 – Sunday, church attendance, debriefing, open market, sightseeing
June 8 – Third week team departs for U.S., arrives to U.S. on the same day (due to the time change).

There are four types of payments that can be made for this trip (credit card, checks, money orders, & cash)
- Registration payment of $500 made on-line with the credit card or by check, cash, money order.
- It is tax deductible
- Payments/Donations made by a student, church, friend, employer, or family member
- It is tax deductible
- Make checks payable to Regent University with “Ukraine 2019” in the memo line
- Donors need to include the attached donation slip (put your initials on the donation slip in the bottom corner where it says “source code”).
- Donations and payments are non-refundable and can be applied to the whole team if your trip has been fully funded;

- Can be distributed to other team members if the student who solicited the donation has already raised full support
