Professor Erin K. DeBoer received her JD, summa cum laude, from Regent University School of Law. She received her undergraduate degree in history, summa cum laude, from Hillsdale College. After graduating from law school, DeBoer served two years as law clerk to the Hon. S. Bernard Goodwyn in the Supreme Court of Virginia. DeBoer joined the Regent University School of Law faculty in 2011. She served for two years as a full-time faculty member and several years as an adjunct professor. Before returning to Regent full time in 2018, DeBoer served for four years as a legal consultant for ShepelleWatkinsWhite Consulting & Law, PLLC. During her time at ShepelleWatkinsWhite, she helped research and analyze land use and real estate issues.
DeBoer currently teaches Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing I and II. She has also taught Appellate Advocacy and American Legal System and Writing (M.A. in Law).
