Linda D. Grooms, Ph.D.

Dr. Linda Grooms' desire for the integration of faith and learning initially brought her to Regent University and that commitment has remained the catalyst that has kept her connected to the university in one capacity or another since 1982. A professor of educational leadership with more than three decades of leadership experience, degrees in both educational and organizational leadership, and an insatiable drive to train Christian leaders to change the world, she has a passion for nation building through the transformational leadership of educational systems.

In addition to her university teaching, she conducts leadership training both nationally and internationally, while continuing her longitudinal research in online learning and pedagogy, computer-mediated communication, and virtual leadership development.

Grooms received a BM in Music Theory from Furman University, a master's in Educational Administration and Curriculum Supervision from Regent University's School of Education, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University's School of Leadership Studies. In addition, from the Commonwealth of Virginia she holds a Division Superintendent's License and a Postgraduate Professional License with endorsements in the following areas: Administration and Supervision PreK-12, Elementary School Counselor, and Music: Instrumental PreK-12.
