Professor David Quackenbos has distinguished himself as an adjunct in Regent University's College of Arts & Sciences, and most recently has been teaching on-campus master's entry-level classes for the School of Divinity (SOD) under the guidance of faculty as professor of record. His teaching ability is exceptional, such that the SOD has retained him to teach master's level classes under a faculty of record until he completes his Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Quackenbos holds a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Old Testament from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in History from Duke University. His teaching/research interests include OT canon formation, OT and whole Bible theology, Esther, Ecclesiastes and the formation of the gospels.
He resides in Chesapeake with his wife Barbara and son Matthew.
