Congratulations! You have made it to graduation. We are excited that you have decided to join us for our virtual Commissioning service.
The service that will be streamed on this page will prayerfully commission you to serve the world as a Christian leader in your chosen field. The schedule includes:
- A welcome
- An address from the Dean
- Academic award recipients
- Congratulatory remarks from our Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Gerson Moreno-Riaño
- A commissioning address from our Founder and Chancellor, Dr. M.G. “Pat” Robertson
- Closing and prayer
To commission someone is “to entrust, or to give authority” or “to appoint or assign to a task or function.” Within the context of our graduation, commissioning is a sacred and holy time of consecration, reflection and prayer.
Please note: Graduates do not need to RSVP for the 2020 SCA Commissioning ceremony or for Commencement. Instead, please return to this page to join us for our virtual Commissioning service. We look forward to praying for and celebrating you.
If you have any questions regarding your eligibility to graduate, please contact University Advising at email@example.com or 757.352.4385 and visit the graduation information page to submit all required paperwork.
If you fail to meet graduation requirements or if you defer to a later semester, you will receive a letter via postal service and an email in April denying/withdrawing Commencement participation permission for this May. Only the school grants permission to participate in Commencement/Commissioning services.
You do not need to RSVP for the 2020 Commissioning and Commencement ceremonies as they will follow a virtual format.
