Regent Closed Saturday, January 7 and Sunday, January 8

Due to Winter Storm Helena, Regent University will be closed Saturday, January 7 and Sunday, January 8. All on-campus activities are canceled. Any requests for access to Regent buildings will be handled by Campus Police.

Much of the southeastern Virginia region is under a blizzard warning. Projected snowfall will reach between 8-12 inches in much of Hampton Roads. Conditions will make travel difficult and potentially dangerous. Please limit unnecessary travel and be prepared for possible power outages during the winter storm. Weather related updates or changes will be sent via email.

Officials will continue to monitor the weather system throughout the weekend. Any changes to the university operations will be sent through the Regent Alert system. Updates to the operating schedule will also be available at regent.edu and on local television and radio stations. Updates will also be made to the Weather Hotline at 757.352.4777.
