Regent School of Nursing Offers Free Webinars Every Wednesday 7:30 p.m.
Scrubs with Capes: A Nursing Webinar Series for America’s New Heroes
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (April 21, 2020) – Regent University’s School of Nursing has developed a free webinar series for America’s heroic and highly valued army of nurses. The series includes six webinars geared toward empowering and educating nurses and healthcare administrators in areas from self-care and strategies for protection to how to approach a career field as a mission field.
Dr. Rebecca Le, director of the School of Nursing, will facilitate the webinars, alongside her accomplished faculty. The purpose is to provide a meaningful forum for encouragement and education on some of the most pressing topics surrounding real-life COVID-19 scenarios and challenges.
“We want nurses to know that, just as they are offering support and care to hundreds and thousands of patients and doctors, they have an outlet of support for themselves,” said Le. “In many ways, nurses are the glue that holds together the healthcare ecosystem. We are honored to come alongside them with practical tools and resources to help ease their load.” At the end of each webinar, nurses will receive a surprise incentive as a way to simply say thank you for their tireless work.
All webinars will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, as noted below.
