For 2019, Regent was prestigiously awarded Honor Roll – the highest rank a school could receive from Great Colleges to Work For®. Why? Because Regent excels in multiple categories – eight in fact – that are evaluated.
The 2019 survey reported Regent to be among the best in the categories of Professional/Career Development, Job Satisfaction, Compensation & Benefits, Respect & Appreciation, Work/Life Balance, Supervisor/Department Chair Relationship, Tenure Clarity & Process, and Facilities & Security.
The survey’s conclusion, based on two-part assessment – examining the university’s policies along with an evaluation completed by the university’s employees – found Regent far above ‘par,’ to be specially recognized and awarded their highest accolade.
“Regent University is a great place to work!” remarked Regent’s founder, chancellor and CEO Dr. M.G. “Pat” Robertson. “I am delighted about the future of this great university. God has great things ahead for us!”
Based on the cooperation of over 56,000 individuals from 236 accredited higher education institutions, this year’s survey consisted of various prestigious universities across the country – finding Regent to be among the most esteemed.
“With the assurance that leadership cares about their needs, Regent’s faculty and staff contribute to the exciting and challenging God-given mission of Regent University!” said Martha Smith, vice president for human resources and administration. “We are truly blessed to have a workforce that partners with the school’s vision to raise up Christian leaders to change the world.”
