Regent University Hosts ROTC Event

On Friday, October 26, Regent University Military Resource Center (MRC) partnered with Hampton Roads ROTC Consortium and local ROTC cadets and midshipmen to host an ROTC Expo.

More than 350 prospective students from seven high schools in the area turned out to participate in activities, which included a military trivia and pull-up challenge, and learn about Regent’s two new Military Science courses.

“The expo is designed to provide first-hand information to JROTC students in our region regarding military career pathways as well as educational opportunities that will prepare them for service opportunities,” said MRC Senior Director, Dr. Bob Habib. “The MRC has invested significant time with all schools in Hampton Roads in an effort to better prepare JROTC students for future leadership opportunities.”
