USMC Leadership Scholar Program

Regent University is proud and privileged to welcome U.S. Marine Corps veterans under the Leadership Scholar Program (LSP) which enables accepted Marines to attend our university using their veterans educational benefits.

To apply for the Leadership Scholar Program:

  3. Regent University admissions requirements:

SAT/ACT mins: Regent requires an SAT score for applicants aged 22 and younger who have less than 15 hours of transferable credit. Mid 50% range is 980 to 1240, Critical Reading plus Math.

SAT or ACT Scores must not be more than: N/A.

LSP Application deadline: July 20 for Fall; December 1 for Spring

Freshmen class report date: Late August for fall. Early January for spring.

Yellow Ribbon participant: Yes.

Will you cover difference between tuition minus GI Bill® and cost of in state “state” school tuition? Or do you want to keep it to in-state residents? N/A.

Do you want to donate additional money to each applicant should the need arise? Grants and scholarships are available.

Processing fees: $50.

All majors open to Marines? Yes.

Recognize AA degree or any college course work: Yes. We recognize regionally accredited coursework.

Recognize awarding of college credits via alternative means, e.g., DANTES or CLEP: Yes. We recognize military training and experience (Joint Service Transcript) as well as DANTES and CLEP.

Students who have more than 15 hours of transferable college credit will be considered “Transfer Students” and transfer student admissions requirements apply. See website for specific requirements.
