Michelle E. Fellows, Ph.D., NCC, LPC (PA)

Bio

Dr. Michelle E. Fellows is an assistant professor in the School of Psychology & Counseling. She has a B.S. in Secondary English Education and MS. Ed. in K-12 School Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision from Duquesne University. She is a licensed professional counselor and has a desire to work with children and adolescents in a private practice setting.

During her time in education, Fellows worked as a middle school English and Language Arts teacher, an elementary and high school counselor, and a professor for several universities. While working in public education, she also enjoyed coaching for the track and girls’ basketball teams.

Fellows’s clinical and research interests include trauma-informed care, social justice advocacy and school counseling, a holistic wellness approach to school counseling, spirituality in school counseling, school counselor educator professional identity and best practices, and school counselor professional identity.

Fellows enjoys spending time with her family (including her goldendoodle, Rusty), watching Marvel and the Pittsburgh Steelers, singing for the Lord, visiting the ocean, and traveling. One of her favorite Bible verses is Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”
