Keith Wilkerson began his academic journey in the fall of 1993 when he enrolled in undergraduate coursework at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He has a bachelor’s in psychology, a master’s in general experimental psychology and a master’s clinical mental health counseling. He completed his Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision at Regent University in 2019.
Since 2005, he has worked in a variety of settings related to the mental health field, including professional services to the citizens of a rural community in northeastern Louisiana. He is passionate about serving clients with mental health needs, as well as students seeking to enter the mental health field. He currently resides in Bastrop, Louisiana, and is committed to his local church, The Upper Room Church Ministries. He and his wife have four children and three grandchildren.
