Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein Memorial Symposium on Jewish-Christian Discourse: “The Theology of Land”

In partnership with The Center for Jewish-Christian Understanding & Cooperation, Regent University School of Divinity hosts the Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein Memorial Symposium on Jewish-Christian Discourse. The symposium theme is “The Theology of Land”, and will answers such questions as: Why does the Bible emphasize the land of Israel and why a chosen land is critical to God’s universal purposes? What role does the land of Israel play in the mission of God’s people to spread the faith to all humanity?

This event will feature a dialogue between four international scholars, two Jewish and two Christian.
– Rabbi Dr. Ari Lamm, Co-Founder & President SoulShop Studios and Chief Executive of Bnai Zion Foundation
– Rabbi Dr. Joshua Berman, Professor of Hebrew Bible at Bar-Ilan University
– Dr. Gerald McDermott, Former Anglican Chair of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School
– Dr. Darrell Bock, Executive Director of Culture Engagement at Hendricks Center and Senior Research Professor of New Testament Studies at Dallas Theological Seminar.
