Study Abroad Trip: Early Christianity in Rome

Regent University's College of Arts & Sciences, in cooperation with Regent's Office of Global Affairs, is delighted to offer a Study Abroad Trip to Rome, Italy.
Two courses will be offered in conjunction with the trip: RELS 390, Independent Study, and RELS 485, Senior Seminar, which will be taught on site by Dr. Corne Bekker, Professor and Department Chair of the College of Arts & Sciences' Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry Department. Students will have the opportunity to study and explore the beginnings of early Biblical Christianity in Rome whilst exploring the Biblical and Church Historical texts of that time.
It is not required that participants register for a course.

- The trip to Rome is limited to 20 participants. Please register early to make sure you don't miss out. Dates: July 14-21, 2013. Register & Pay by: May 1, 2013. Scholarship Application Deadline: April 12, 2013. The Regent College of Arts & Sciences has also set aside eighteen (18) $825 academic tuition scholarships* for this study abroad opportunity. CAS academic scholarships for the trip will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for those who qualify. Scholarship recipients may be asked to blog about their experience and/or participate in various Regent sponsored events during the 2013-2014 academic year. The Scholarship Application Deadline is April 12, 2013. Cost: For receiving three credits: Block Tuition Students $2,795; Non Block Tuition Students $2,495; Without credits $1,310.
