Regent University’s College of Healthcare Sciences (CHS) is seeking a distinguished leader to serve as its dean. CHS is part of one of the fastest growing universities in America that offers 150+ areas of study at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels and enrolls more than 10,000 students worldwide.

Fully committed to its foundational mission of Christian Leadership to Change the Word, the College of Healthcare Sciences is positioned to grow exponentially—both in enrollment and in academic offerings—and to produce healthcare leaders of tomorrow who are ready to define and solve the increasingly complex national and global healthcare needs of this era. CHS offers an Associate of Science in Health Sciences, a Bachelor of Sciences in Gerontology, a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and a Master of Sciences in Health Information Systems Administration. Additionally, CHS’ School of Nursing offers a RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing.

The successful candidate will possess significant public health and/or clinical experience, with demonstrated leadership and administrative prowess and proven scholarly ability. The dean’s position offers a unique opportunity for a talented, entrepreneurial, and innovative leader to build a highly credentialed, experienced faculty and exceptional staff to educate and mentor students in public health, healthcare administration, nursing and beyond.

CHS seeks a dynamic Christian leader with significant public health policy and academic administrative experience. The candidate must be an excellent scholar with outstanding academic credentials commensurate with a tenured appointment at the rank of professor, and a dedicated educator with a deep commitment to students.

The ideal candidate for the position will possess:

A terminal degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, Health Services, Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Administration or related discipline from a regionally accredited institution is preferred. A terminal degree in related fields will also be considered. A minimum of five years of administrative experience required.
