Associate Professor, Psychology
Dr. Eric Jones' family moved around quite a bit as he was growing up. They lived in Florida twice, Georgia, Texas and Tennessee. He lived in Knoxville during his most formative years and even developed into a bit of a Volunteer fan. Jones describes basketball as a major part of his life, and the associated experiences were the greatest influences for his academic life and understanding of people.
For Jones, family has always been important, and now his wife and two children are the center of it all. When not around the house with them, Jones still enjoys playing basketball and watching football. Of course, he also enjoys reading and writing about the psychological and theological implications of spiritual and personal development.
