Dr. Jeremy Painter joined Regent University in 2010. After serving as an adjunct instructor for five years, he now serves as assistant professor of English and is the director of Regent’s Writing Center. Painter is an ordained minister and teaches in churches at the local, national and international levels. He is from Seattle, Washington, but he now resides in Virginia Beach with his wife and three children.
His research interests include Tolkien studies, medieval literature, and Johannine studies. He teaches subjects in British literature, including Shakespeare, Milton, and topics in Lewis and Tolkien; he also teaches Regent’s Graduate Writing Seminar.
