University Shuttle

Regent University provides complimentary shuttle service to all university faculty, staff and students, as well as CBN, The Founders Inn and Spa, and ACLJ employees. Updated Information for the Fall 2020 Semester

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the University's Shuttle Service is doing its part to ensure a healthy and safe trip for the students we serve.

The Shuttles will be cleaned and sanitized between each shift. The shuttles will be disinfected daily, paying special attention to high-touch areas. Hand sanitizer dispensers have been added to the shuttles as a courtesy to our riders.

Signage has been placed at the shuttle stop, informing riders of the requirements for shuttle use. Each riding MUST wear a facemask over the nose and mouth during any trip. We ask that passengers maintain at least one empty seat between them and the next passenger on buses. Passengers should maintain at least a 6-foot distance between them while waiting at the stops and boarding the shuttle.

Due to the serious nature of COVID-19, we are limiting capacity of each shuttle ride to 7 individuals per round leaving Stop #1 (The Village). Please be aware of the peak hours (10:30a-1:00p) and rounds (8:51a/10:31a/5:11p) and plan accordingly. This will allow passengers to maintain distance from one another when riding. When a shuttle reaches capacity, the driver will notify you. You may choose to wait for the next shuttle (if available).

There will be a Walmart/Target trip every week. There will be a sign up sheet located on the bus. Each student interested in participating MUST sign up in advance.

The shuttle operates on a 20-minute schedule, starting at Regent Village and covers the entire university area.

Inclement Weather

When the University is closed because of inclement weather, the shuttle will not be in service. If the University has a delayed opening, the shuttle will begin operating 20 minutes prior to the opening time and will run for one hour. After that, the shuttle will resume its regular schedule. If the University closes early, every effort will be made to run the shuttle for 40 minutes (two loops around campus) at the time of closure. Our ability to run the shuttle at the time of early closure is dependent on driver availability and safe driving conditions. If the driving conditions become unsafe, shuttle service will be stopped immediately.
