Interim Director of Campus Ministries
Dr. Joseph Umidi serves as Executive Vice President for Student Life and Interim Director of Campus Ministries. For the past 31 years he has also served as Professor of Ministry. For fifteen years he has served on the Board of New Life Ministries International, a church network, church planting, and missions organization based in Virginia Beach. He is Founder and President of Lifeforming Leadership Coaching, Inc., a Christian Coach Training ministry world-wide in 24 countries and 14 languages advanced by several Regent alumni. He has authored numerous articles and books dealing with Church, Organizational, and Personal Transformation and is working in community and international transformation strategies with several ministry organizations in the developing nations. He is married to Marie, Founder & President of TMCJ, Inc. an international Gospel Arts ministry, and the delighted grandparents of three grandchildren.
Associate Director of Campus Ministries
As the Associate Director of Campus Ministries, Rev. Sara Carrara Di Fuccia serves as the Campus Pastor of Discipleship (Journey Together) and Outreach (Journey Out). She is responsible for the leadership training and development of Life Group Leaders on the Discipleship Team while leading other discipleship groups and classes for undergraduate students on campus. She manages all Campus Ministries' service and evangelism initiatives, including the annual Spring Break missions trip. Sara also serves as a pastoral counselor and mentor to students. She is a regular speaker at the student UnChapel and University Chapel services. Sara has served in young adult ministry since 1997. She holds a BS in Elementary Education, MA in Human Services Counseling, MA in Practical Theology, and is a credentialed Life Coach and ordained minister. Sara is married to Dr. Michael Di Fuccia (PhD Theology, University of Nottingham). Together, they served in England as missionaries from 2010-2014. She and her husband enjoy spending their free time at Sandbridge Beach with their little Chihuahua, Maximus.
