New sessions start every eight weeks at Regent University. *Applications are due three weeks prior to the start of each session. Your decision and enrollment deposit are due two weeks prior to the start of class.

The application process is the same for both on campus and online programs. The application is online, so it's convenient to complete and you can stop, save, and return at a later time to finish it. Apply Now is where you begin.

Regent University is fully accredited for its online and on-campus courses. We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. View Accreditation.

Online courses are available through Blackboard, Regent's web-based classroom. Students access Blackboard through a web browser, where they view course material, interact with faculty and students and submit assignments online. Regent has a Blackboard orientation at the beginning of each semester. Regent University has tutorials for all software.

Regent's classes are 8 weeks long rather than the traditional 16 weeks. Students, as a result, should expect to spend 15-20 hours per week on a 3-credit course. This includes online time, studying, writing papers and taking tests.

The online program is asynchronous. There is not a set time for all students within a class to be online.

Your diploma will say Bachelor of Science/Arts. Your degree carries the same value as any other college degree.

Online and on-campus classes require the same amount of work. There is no academic difference between online and on-campus courses. Both are rigorous and challenging.

If you are in one of our online degree programs you will never need to come to campus for anything unless you desire to do so (such as for graduation). Your degree can be completely obtained from your home.
