Psychology Department

The psychology department is currently implementing updated texts for Developmental PSYC and Research and Statistics. Also, we are continually evaluating our assessment measurements and including projects, group work, and video assignments to evaluate students' learning, not just tests.

What are the Psychology Faculty up to?

Most faculty members are doing clinical and volunteer work, and research. Research interests currently being pursued among faculty include marriage and family, gerontology, the church and community, AD/HD, Adolesecents, Children, Gender identity, spiritual integration in session and in the classroom, guidance counseling, career counseling, and many other topics.

The majority of faculty members are participating and presenting in professional conferences. They are active members of Psychology organizations. Some of these include American Psychological Association (APA), American Counseling Association (ACA), American Association for Christian Counselors (AACC).
