  • In 1999, Regent created the first MFA in Script & Screenwriting taught with a Christian worldview.
  • In 2002, Regent opened a new Communication & Performing Arts Center with two film screening rooms, a professional television studio equipped with a full lighting grid and $500,000 lighting package, several video editing suites and audio post-production suites.
  • In 2006, Regent launched the first MFA programs in Directing and Producing taught from a Christian perspective.
