Insights on Servant Leadership

From Men's Wearhouse to Starbucks to Southwest Airlines, businesses and organizations are buying in to the concept and value of servant leadership. In this Leadership Talks session, Dr. Larry Spears, president and CEO of the Spears Center for Servant-Leadership, shares his personal insights from his first encounter with the writings of servant leadership founder Robert K. Greenleaf in 1982 through his work today at the Larry C. Spears Center for Servant-Leadership. Join us as Dr. Spears discuss his personal beliefs about servant leadership; the difference between servanthood and being a servant leader; and why he considers servant leadership to be a philosophy of life rather than a leadership model.
