Congratulations! You have made it to graduation! We are excited that you have decided to join us for our Commissioning Service and look forward to meeting your families and friends.
You may be asking, “What is a Commissioning Service?” To commission someone is “to entrust, or to give authority” or “to appoint or assign to a task or function.” At graduation you leave from Regent with training and preparation, to go out into the world and fulfill the call God has on your life (Isaiah 61:1-3). Within the context of our graduation, Commissioning is a sacred and holy time of worship, consecration, reflection, prayer and anointing.
The service was live streamed.

Steps to RSVP for Commissioning is done at the same time and on the same form that you RSVP for Commencement. Please review the steps to RSVP for Commencement & Commissioning.
Each graduate planning to attend the service must submit the RSVP no later than April 28, 2017 so that we may plan accordingly. If you will not be able to join us for the Commissioning Service, please know that we are proud of your achievement and will include you in our prayers for the graduates.
Please keep in mind that the Commissioning Service will begin promptly at 4 pm on Thursday, May 4, 2017, but graduates are required to arrive at the Welcome Center Lobby at 3:30 pm to check-in and line up! The Welcome Center is in the divinity building beside the Chapel, on the first floor. DIV 177 and 179 classrooms are reserved for graduates to don their regalia and line up. There will be coat racks available in these rooms for graduates to hang/leave their regalia to attend the reception.
All graduates are required to wear their gowns, but should not wear their caps. Each graduate must check-in upon arrival at the Welcome Center lobby and at that time will be given further directions. Please pick up your cap and gown before you check in.
