The QEP is a new requirement for SACS accreditation. The QEP is used to outline a course of action for institutional improvement by addressing one or more topics that contribute to institutional quality, with special attention to student learning. The QEP must be a new plan, not yet implemented at the time of our SACS site visit in 2009. SACS will use the following criteria to assess our QEP.

5 Criteria for Assessing QEP

  1. Student Learning Improvement
  2. University Mission-Directed
  3. Broad-Based Involvement of Constituents
  4. Focused Topic with Measurable Results
  5. Institutional Capability to Complete QEP
