Guidelines for Submitting

The Compliance Certification Report is by necessity a group effort by the faculty and staff of Regent University. All reports should be submitted, on time, in the Blackboard Content System. Make sure you review the Compliance Report Audit.

Adding Items to the Content System

  1. Go to the Share tab in Bb and hit "Regent Content" on the left.
  2. There are two ways to add your report.
    1. Click on the "SACS Accreditation" link and then hit the "web folder" button. This will open a pop-up window where you can browse to the "Compliance Reports" folder. Drag the icon of your report from wherever it is on your computer into this folder.
    2. Click on the "SACS Accreditation" link and then click on the "Compliance Reports" link. Click the "add item" button at the top of the page and browse to your file on your computer. Hit submit.

Edit a Report in the Content System

  1. Go to the Share tab in Bb and hit "Regent Content" on the left.
  2. Click on the "SACS Accreditation" link and then hit the "web folder" button.
  3. This will bring a pop-up window where you can browse to the "Compliance Reports" folder. You must use the web folder.
  4. Double click on the file you wish to edit.
  5. Make your changes and save.

Linking to a File in the Bb Content System from Word

  1. In the Content System, click the "Modify" link to the right of the folder or document you want to link to.
  2. At the top of the page, it lists a "Location", "Location URL", and "Permanent URL".
  3. Right-click on the Permanent URL and choose "Copy Shortcut".
  4. Go to your Word document and right-click the word that you want to make a hyperlink.
  5. Choose "Hyperlink" from the menu.
  6. In the "Address" field at the bottom of the Hyperlink screen, paste the address you copied from Blackboard.
  7. Click OK.

Linking to Another File in the Bb Content System

It is vital that you follow a specific process when you link to files on the Content System. Please print out these instructions pdf and save them for reference while you work on your reports.
