Senior Founding Pastor of Calvary Revival Church
Bishop B. Courtney McBath was in full-time ministry in Virginia when his church rapidly grew from a congregation of 20 in the early 1990s to one of the largest churches in America today, with attendance of more than 7,000.
As the senior founding pastor of Calvary Revival Church in Norfolk, Va., and the presiding bishop of Calvary Alliance of Churches and Ministries, McBath provides vision and leadership to churches and ministries throughout the United States and around the world. He is as a dynamic speaker, songwriter and author. McBath's weekly television program, The Voice of Revival, airs nationally on the Inspiration Network.
Regarding his church's rising influence, McBath says, "I knew I needed to broaden my knowledge base so I could better serve this growing congregation." He chose Regent's School of Divinity master's degree program because of the university's excellent ministry training, spiritual formation and challenging academic coursework.
"At Regent, I was able to build and refine essential foundational skills of ministry leadership, like vision casting, strategic planning and communication," he says.
