Mindy is the point of contact for news media. She works closely with the President's Office, Academic Affairs, Advancement, Enrollment Management and other departments to tell the Regent story. Mindy came to Regent as a part-time writer in 2007 and became director in 2010. She is a nationally accredited public relations professional with more than 25 years of experience. Mindy is active in PRSA, the Public Relations Society of America, serving at the local, district and national levels.

A resident of Virginia Beach since 1983, Mindy describes herself as an adoring roadie to her blues-rock guitarist husband for more than 30 years, devoted mom of two adult kids and two dogs, enthusiastic church and community volunteer, and connoisseur of good food, whose retreats to the Virginia mountains highlight each year.

Amanda reports the latest news from Student Services, the College of Arts & Sciences, and the Schools of Education, Government, and Communication & the Arts. She also manages the Public Relations department's web pages, occasionally serves the University Marketing creative team as a writer and proofreader, and assists the university's social media director as a blog editor.

Having come to Regent in 2011 as a Midwestern transplant from Tulsa, Okla., Amanda began pursuing her MFA in Script & Screenwriting in the School of Communication & the Arts in 2012.

Brett keeps the world up to date on the Schools of Business & Leadership, Law, Psychology & Counseling, and Divinity, as well as the division of Professional & Continuing Education. She began at Regent University in 2010 as a graduate student in the Communication & the Arts journalism program and completed her degree in 2012. Brett began working as the university's public relations coordinator in February, 2013. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, reading, playing the piano and drinking coffee.
